The kids have the best time playing in the rain (sans thunder) and we have had plenty of opportunities this lovely, long and true spring! Shea and Kylie made origami boats to sail down the gutter (Shea made a bunch and still I missed the shots as it was raining full out) and then proceeded to try and make a dam. Our neighbors joined us yesterday which increased the fun threshold!

May 2013-Florida
Kylie was behind the camera and captured some great shots at the nature centers we visited with Grandma D and Pop Pop. No grandparent shots by either of us (what were we thinking!!), but our memories of being together last and last!
There's a bald eagle in the tree above the nest!
Manatee
Eating at the Monkey Island restaurant with Pop Pop was a huge thrill for the kids. As we ate, they watched the monkeys roam and play on this small island all heir own!

Visiting Critters-June 2013
Anole catching has been a big deal around here. This one was an easy mark since it was trapped inside our bedroom window. Three days is a max for a visiting pass.
The mockingbird chicks were such fun to watch as they first emerged from their nest. The kids each had a chance to hold one for a short while.

And the sweetest critter of all (and silly too) came for two visits! She never has to worry about the three day rule!
